George Young and the Homeless

Sir George Samuel Knatchbull Young 6th Baronet

Leading Tory cabinet minister, Lord Privvy Seal and Conservative Leader of the HOC, Sir George Young, also a prominent member of the Housing Commission on Westminster Council  once said “The homeless? Aren’t they the people you step over when you are coming out of the opera?”

That  same Housing commission are banning the homeless in the borough of Westminster from ‘Rough sleeping’ and stopping support for them such as banning soup Kitchens.

The multi-millionaire Sir George Samuel Knatchbull Young 6th Baronet with a luxurious £650,000 home  in Penton Mewsey in Hampshire claimed £127,00 expenses on the swish £500,000 apartment he owns in London between 2007 and 2009.
