Out of Touch Ministers punish pensioners

How cruel can this despicable Government get? Parliament is tonight (22 Nov) debating a motion regarding pensioners and winter fuel payments.

This year pensioners are facing a triple whammy of higher VAT, soaring energy prices and cuts to their winter fuel payments. The government propped up by the LibDEms are slashing Winter fuel payments for over 80’s by 25% (£100)  and 12% for under 80’s.

Labour and the DUP are calling for out of touch Multi-Millionaire Chancellor Gideon Osbourne to reverse these cuts and reverse the VAT rise which costs pensioner couples a further £275 per year.
